I have always enjoyed steak, but it wasn’t until I dated a guy whose family owned a steak house that I learned there were different qualities of steak and a best way to prepare it. I got to eat prime quality steak cooked rare. Melts in your mouth. Seriously, you don’t want your apple pie burnt do you? You want it so it’s just brown, that’s the way it tastes best. And you’d send your crab rangoons back if they came to your table charred to a crisp. Try a steak cooked rare. Ah, let me correct that. Try a good quality steak cooked rare. (Do not order steak at IHOP ever. Just don’t. Lesson learned.)

A truly good steak cooked rare makes my mouth happy. (Or is that Twizzlers?)
