I, along with several of my running/health buddies are participating in a challenge: 100 miles in 8 weeks. Wanna join? Great!! We have a group at LogYourRun.com where we can post our progress and encourage each other. If you want to join that group and keep track of your progress, just click here.
That averages to 12 1/2 miles a week.
And this week didn’t start off too well. I am at 5.3 miles, and it’s all walking miles too. Not that walking is bad, because the challenge doesn’t require you to do any specific type of exercise. The goal is just to get the miles in; It doesn’t matter how you do them–running, biking, elliptical machine, skating, bicycling–whatever. Thank goodness!
But I have a new running jacket! And that’s a darn good thing, because it has been FREEZING here in good old Deutschland.

Güten Tag, Fraü Müller!
I packed my wife off to TN on Wednesday to visit family, and since then I have burned off 8900 calories switching off between the treadmill and the arc trainer. If I could convert that into flat miles I would consider joining your challenge.
