@charity: I just updated my post and included some links to your great posts about biking. I actually cannot believe I didn't think to do that in the first place!

As to biking in the winter, I am telling myself right now that I'll just keep on biking. I love cold weather because I like getting all bundled up against the cold, and it doesn't get too cold her normally, although last January and February it was definitely icy cold. We'll see. Instead of taking the bus, I walked in February. That's probably what I'll do this year if it gets too chilly.

It takes some ingenuity to travel in Midwestern cities by bicycle, but I'm making the change. I feel the bicycle topic will be making headlines on my blog often...as it did on my latest. So glad you are discovering the joy as well!!!

PS - What do you do in winter? Back to the bus?

Linden - I posted a reply to your comment to my own blog here, but I'll post it below too, in case you're not following the thread over there. Cheers!

---

daniel smith said...
Linden,
Thanks for the comment!
As it happens, I saw the other Wordpress/Blogger post that you had Dugg in your recent activity and headed over there to take a look. Actually, I've found that blog (for other readers, the link is HERE) is a really great resource for new bloggers - I also Dugg that article, subscribed to her RSS and left a comment - this is how the blogosphere is truly supposed to work!

As for the comment preview feature - that's something I forgot to mention, but that did bug me about WP as well! I think I'll add a note at the end of the post -thanks!

And I haven't used the Scheduled Post feature yet, but I am using Blogger in Draft (why not just Blogger Beta? hah) so I may try it out.

I hope to see you around the blog going forward - as I mentioned I have subscribed to your RSS so keep the interesting posts coming.

Cheers,

Daniel
