your problem with cells on google docs is a known issue posted on the chrome help site under ‘known issues’ :)

I still haven’t decided if I’m going to download Google Chrome or not. I usually love the things Google does.

I have got the gmail desktop shortcut to work just fine. It’s on my desktop, I click, and it loads a chrome page at Gmail. I log in and voila!
