		<description>Might I propose a new type of Conservative? Namely, one who Conserves? When I think back to the stories of the Great Depression that I heard my grandmother speak about, I can honestly say that these are not dire times. They may be hard, but they are not dire. 

I think we can really learn a lot from our Great-Grandparents&#039; generation: the ones who raised the so-called &quot;Greatest Generation&quot;  made up by most of our grandparents. The adults in our country who lived and worked through the Great Depression knew how to stretch a dollar. They did not throw out possessions simply because they ceased to be the Latest and Greatest. They could make a meal stretch on even the most strict of budgets. Somewhere along the way, we have gotten too wasteful in the way we live our lives, spend our money, and run our businesses.</description>
