I had a bad day yesterday and Sarah had a rough one today. And Jenny isn’t here for our weekly ritual of Coffee, Crafties, and Besties (#CCB) because she is out of town for work. Sad day.
So instead of straight-up chai tonight, I decided that we needed something with a little extra oomph: after a quick run to the nearest Brown Derby, spiked chai was born.
Here’s our recipe.
Spiked Chai Latte Recipe
8 oz Tazo Chai Mix
1 1/2 oz spiced rum (we used Bacardi Oakheart Spiced Rum)
about 3 oz milk
Mix chai mix, rum, and ice. Top off with milk (to taste) and stir. Enjoy.
Chai is delicious warm or cold, and I think this recipe would be too. Experiment with warm spiked chai latte during cool months or sip iced spiked chai latte during warm months.
