I am currently discovering more about what it means to be an American, a Missourian, and Me in this world by living in Gießen, Germany, where I teach English-language courses at Justus-Liebig-Universität. I'm travelling this road to self-discovery with my funny, talented, and dedicated husband, Rob.

On a free Saturday afternoon, you might find me reading on the terrace, trying to keep up with Rob on the running trail, crocheting, watching movies or TV, blogging, playing cards, travelling, or working on my dissertation (what can I say—I'm a linguistics nerd!).
